Day 4 30 x 30 Remix

Today, we dissected a frog! Uh-huh. We skinned it and we opened it up to see all the organs while its heart is still beating. Thank you Prospertino Procopio. You have been very beneficial to our learning experience in the Biology lab today. :) Let us now have a moment of silence to celebrate the wonderful life that our frog led.

Now, back to regular programming. Meet my dissection outfit. :)

 

Starting from the top, purple drop earrings from the mysterious box in the bookshelf once again. Loose pink blouse from Frou Frou that I got from the Super Sale at the World Trade Center, and the charm bracelet was a gift from a friend for my birthday! :)

 

The jeggings (that's leggings that look like jeans) I got from the Surplus Shop, while the pink jelly flats with the flower was from Saint Francis Square. Yes, you find a lot of great items there for a cheaper price. It pays off most of the time, because trends come and go and you wouldn't feel too guilty about not using things after they go out of style!

Day 3 30 x 30 Remix

Sooooo. It was relatively sunny this morning and I felt like being girly! It was great the whole day except for that blasted rain that left me soaking....

Anyway, check out the "girly" outfit I came up with!

 

Okay! Enough with the judging stares. :P Here's what I wore and where I got it! Bronze hairband from my grandma, and the necklace from a bazaar at Cuenca, Alabang many light years ago. =)) The tank top with the rose embellishments, I got from Saint Francis Square (yes, the gigantic tiangge building behind SM Megamall), and the gray vest I got from the Surplus Shop in SM. (I know, I shop there a lot, don't I?)  

 

The maxi skirt with the orange and blue print, I got from Saint Francis Square (Another place I love to shop at! I swear, you'll be surprised at how realistic the knock-offs look there, and how cheap they are!) Andddd, there's the blue and brown jelly wedges that I got from Shoppersville for Php 186.00 ONLY (Yes, ONLY) 

Oh, I almost forgot, the watch from Tomato I got as a birthday gift this year (Thanks, Tita Ara). :)

 That's all for today! Btw, some free advice. Do not, repeat, do not, go to school in a maxi skirt when you know there's a typhoon in the country if you don't want to look like a wet dog going to your next class. True story.

Day 2 30 x 30 Remix

Today, I had PE so I had to make sure what I wore was easy to change into. :D Well, meet my easy-to-change-into outfit.......










Seriously, what are you waiting for? Look down. Look down now. :)

Hihihi. Comfy, right? Well, I sweated out in the morning at it rained all afternoon, so.... :)

Starting from my head, I'm wearing it in a bun. (BEST HAIRSTYLE EVER, BTW) Then I'm wearing dangling black earrings courtesy of the box near the book shelf with all the jewelry. =)) Then a Calvin Klein blue V-neck shirt that I got at the Surplus Shop in SM (I know, branded stuff in the Surplus Shop? What sorcery is this?) Then an intentionally worn-out denim jacket also from the Surplus Shop. 

Now, from the bottom up. I'm wearing Chuck Taylors Slim in gray from Converse. Oh and it's a really funny story of how I got those shorts! We were off to my dentist's house when we saw this store that sells over-runs. So that's where I got 'em. :) Then I wore it with the belt courtesy of my grandma once again. Et voila! My outfit for the day. :)

Day 1 30 x 30 Remix

Today, I was running a little late because we had Chemistry Lab at 7:30 in the morning. I almost forgot that I was starting the 30 x 30 Remix Challenge today and threw on the first things I laid eyes on. Buttttt. This smart kid actually prepared an outfit the night before! HAHA. I guess the morning rush makes people's brains start a little later than their bodies.

Anyway, Here's what I wore! Forgive the smug look, I had a date with chemicals early in the morning. :D

For a run down of where I got my stuff, just look down! 

I got these tan khaki pants at Forever 21, belt courtesy of my grandma, and the floral loafers, again, from Forever 21! My brothers and I got this exact same striped lilac and white shirt from our dad. The beanie I got from the Surplus Shop at SM! (I know. No way, right?) It has studs at the back, too. :) The feather earring, I made myself. It was sort of an experimental piece when I suddenly felt like a hippie last summer. :D

30 x 30 Remix Challenge

So, after long months of not posting anything, I've decided to be like Jenna Hamilton in the MTV series Awkward and post a diary online everyday, except that I don't have weird love triangles with best friends, a weird guidance counselor, and a hate letter that tells me I'm invisible. Hmm. That kind of makes me not like Jenna Hamilton at all then. =)) But, either way, I'm going to keep a diary, a style diary while doing the 30x30 Remix challenge by Kendi Everyday (http://www.kendieveryday.com/p/30x30-remix.html)! Basically, it challenges you to use just 30 items in your closet for 30 days! It teaches you to shop smart and save up! Amazing, isn't it? Well, just like Barney Stinson, CHALLENGE ACCEPTED! Check out the 30 items I'll be using in my next post! :D
